Last November 16th, the students and graduates of the Liceu Conservatory Foundation participated in the Gala más IN, the great gala of Integration, Inclusion and Interpretation organised by the Grupo SIFU Foundation, which filled the Teatro del Canal in Madrid.
In this edition, the Gala más IN featured different music and dance performances with more than 80 artists on stage, with whom our students shared the stage. The Gala más IN was presented by the athlete Sara Andrés and was once again under the artistic direction of Oriol Saña, a teacher of the Centre Superior Liceu.
The participating students were Jana Ginesta (oboe), Monica Vicente (drums) and Joana Craven (voice) and the graduates Guillem León (piano) and Pol Oñate (piano) with whom they shared the stage with, among others, Víctor Manuel, special guest of the gala, who performed the song “Solo pienso en ti”.
At the end of the event, its artistic director, Oriol Saña, celebrated yet another edition of an inclusive art gala that “shows that people with functional diversity work every day to grow personally and professionally through art”.
The Gala más IN is the biggest artistic event in Europe where artists with disabilities take the stage to highlight and give visibility to their great abilities.
