The best music, from the classroom to the stage
A new edition of the Liceu Jove series showcases the talent of students from the Liceu Conservatory in their pursuit of interpretative excellence.
It is essential that students from the various Departments of Classical and Contemporary Music Performance, along with their ensembles, have the opportunity to regularly present to the public the work they have carried out in the classroom, through a program of auditions and concerts. It is within the Liceu Jove series that they find this space to confront the challenge of performing their music on stage.
Throughout the series, audiences can attend chamber music concerts, piano and guitar recitals, performances by various ensembles, contemporary music concerts—with special attention to works by Composition students—and performances by emerging voices in lyric singing.
To close the academic year, the traditional concerts at which the Extraordinary Prizes are awarded will represent one of the year’s highlights.
