The equipment of the Liceu Conservatory allows offering several businesses and cultural organizations a suitable place for their activities. These areas, adapted to new technologies, make possible a greater efficiency and the achievement of high artistic quality in a wide variety of event formats, such as symphonic and chamber music concerts, lectures, roundtables, etc. Likewise, their location in the center of Barcelona makes them ideal for organizing events with great visibility.
The organizations requesting our areas are from different fields. Every year, businesses –both institutional and private– carry out acts and congresses. Among these organizations, there are many already fully consolidated and, year after year, they renew their trust in our halls to ensure the success of their activities; either they are public institutions, non-musical private organizations or private music organizations.
This confidence is translated not only in the rental of our halls during specific days for designed events but also in whole concert cycles, carried out each year, which have the Auditorium as their official headquarters for several days.
Some examples of these relevant cultural activities performed in the Liceu Conservatory Auditorium are the preliminary and semifinal auditions of the Francesc Viñas International Singing Contest, conferences and roundtables of BCnegra, the concert cycles “Les Quatre Estacions del Cor Vivaldi” by the Vivaldi Choir (Petits Cantors de Catalunya), concerts by the Madrigal Choir, activities of the Young National Orchestra of Catalonia (JONC), conferences of the Catalan Foundation Coordinator, the International University of Catalonia, the Antigues Caixes Catalanes Foundation, Barcelona Global, the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Educational Consortium of Barcelona or the Technical Foundation and Humanism, among others.
