The Carolina Foundation and the Conservatori Liceu Foundation of Barcelona announce the new edition of the Scholarship program for the upcoming academic year 2024-2025.
This call is aimed at musicians from the Ibero-American Community of Nations (excluding Spain). It offers the opportunity to obtain a Scholarship to pursue Official Master’s studies at the Conservatori Liceu Higher Center in Barcelona, specializing in Classical and Contemporary Music Performance, as well as Jazz and Modern Music.
This scholarship program represents a valuable opportunity for musicians from Ibero-American countries seeking academic excellence and wishing to contribute to the sustainable development of their communities.
The purpose of this scholarship program is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda. It seeks to contribute and ensure inclusive and quality education in Ibero-America, promoting opportunities for continuous learning, and strengthening the role of musical education in the full realization of human rights, peace, and responsible exercise of local and global citizenship, gender equality, and sustainable development.
The institutional collaboration between the Carolina Foundation and the Conservatori Liceu Foundation has been ongoing since 2003, with more than 130 scholarships awarded for Postgraduate and Official Master’s studies.
Master’s studies at the Higher Center of the Conservatori Liceu Foundation provide an official qualification within the European Higher Education Area, in accordance with Royal Decree 1614/2009, of October 26, which regulates Higher Artistic Education according to Organic Law 2/2006, of May 3, on Education.
Applicants can submit their applications online through the Carolina Foundation website until March 14, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. (Spanish time).
