Pedro Campos, Professor of the Liceu Conservatory Foundation, is nominated for this year’s Latin Grammy in two categories: The Best Alternative Song category, for “Agárrate”, and Best Alternative Music Album for “Calambre”, by Nathy Peluso.
Last year, Pedro Campos was nominated in the category of Best Alternative Song, by “Buenos Aires”, in collaboration with Nathy Peluso.
Pedro Campos, composer, producer and arranger of “Agárrate”, collaborates regularly with the Argentinean signer since 2018. He has produced and composed most of the songs of her first solo album, “La Sandunguera”, and also of her lastest album, “Calambre”, which includes “Agárrate”.
It will be known on November 18 if Pedro Campos and Nathy Peluso are winners of one of the Latin Grammys 2021.
Pedro Campos began his studies at “L’Aula de Música Moderna i Jazz” of Liceu Conservatory by combining them with the Bachelor in Musicology at the UAB. In 2011 he began his jazz studies at the Liceu Conservatory, with David Mengual and Horacio Fumero as mentors, achieving the Graduate Extraordinary Award in 2015, in the speciality of Jazz and Modern Music.
Throughout his career, he has worked as a producer, composer and performer in the national and international scene with different projects such as Big Menu, Nathy Peluso, Peter Fields, El Kanka, Zalon, Marta Pérez, Martín Leiton Big Band, The Stepback Orchestra, and many others.
