The Conservatory Liceu presents the new professors for the 2023-2024 academic year

Charles Antoine Archambault, Daniel Claret, Aine Suzuki, Isabel Villanueva, Jaha Lee, Javier Serrano and Darío Mariño will join the extensive staff of professors at Liceu Conservatory.

The next academic year 2023-2024, the Liceu Conservatory will incorporate new professors who will teach various subjects in the Higher Education specialties offered by the center. They are cellists Charles Antoine Archambault and Daniel Claret, violists Aine Suzuki and Isabel Villanueva, violinist Jaha Lee, double bass player Javier Serrano and clarinetist Darío Mariño.

Charles Antoine Archambault, Daniel Claret, Aine Suzuki, Isabel Villanueva, Jaha Lee and Javier Serrano join the String Department, and for his part, Darío Mariño joins the Wind Department of the Conservatory, along with other teachers of great national prestige and international.

Archambault is a highly regarded cellist who has won many awards and has performed as a soloist with numerous European orchestras, and is currently Principal Cellist with the OBC. Daniel Claret is a Catalan cellist with extensive experience as a soloist and collaborator with various orchestras. Aine Suzuki is an award-winning Japanese violist who has played in renowned orchestras and performed at major venues in Europe and Asia with world-famous conductors. Isabel Villanueva is a passionate and charismatic violist who immediately connects with the public, and who has developed a global career playing with important orchestras and carrying out innovative projects to bring classical music to new audiences, backed by the important awards she has received. Jaha Lee, a French violinist of Korean origin, has studied with several highly regarded teachers and has performed in concert halls around the world, developing a career as a sought-after soloist and chamber musician. Javier Serrano is a highly talented and experienced musician who has worked with some of the most important orchestras in Spain and Europe. Lastly, Darío Mariño is a solo clarinetist with extensive experience in the orchestral and chamber music repertoire, who has worked with prominent conductors and has collaborated with numerous internationally renowned orchestras before becoming a soloist with the Gran Teatre del Liceu Symphonyc Orchestra.
