Cels Burgès, graduated in in electric guitar from the Centre Superior at the Liceu Conservatory Foundation publishes the new album Hot Blues Sessions, which recovers a selection of the concerts that took place in the Hot Blues room (Igualada) from 2008 until its closure in 2017, after 19 years of activity.
Hot Blues Sessions creates a sonorous journey through twelve artists and various groups where musicians of different styles (pop, rock, blues, jazz, free jazz, electronic, afro, flamenco or folk) coexist, reflecting in a sincere and direct way the programme offered by the venue to the public: jam sessions, open mics, DJ sessions, poetry set to music and performances.
The vinyl is the idea of Cels Burgès, with production by Gès Burgués and art direction by Sebastián Geregz. Also collaborating are the stamps Hidden Track Records, Bankrobber and Underpool.
On 27 November the vinyl was pre-sold and on 9 December the vinyl and single were released.
The launch will culminate with a themed party on 30 December at 19:00h at the Anoia Regional Archive, the old Teneria in Igualada, with performances by Jaume Llombart and Enrique Oliver, and where it will be possible to visit the exhibition made up of photographs, drawings of concerts and prints of the process of the creation of the vinyl.
From the Liceu Conservatory Foundation, we congratulate Cels Burgès for the publication of this recording.
