The Festival is held from July 27 to 31 with high level teachers from all over the world.
By virtue of the institutional agreement between the Liceu Conservatory Foundation and the Autonomous University of Bucaramanga, the teachers of the Conservatory Corrado Bolsi (Violin) and Joaquín Arrabal (Double bass), participated in this important Festival with two master classes.
The Festival has been organized since 2006 by the Music Program of the Autonomous University of Bucaramanga, and it features countless public concerts, instrument and orchestral ensemble workshops, body expression and theater workshops, musical film sessions, selection auditions for the UNAB Symphony Orchestra and string instrumentss performance competitions. The number of attendees at public events and registered for the Festival has increased considerably in the last editions. This year, due to the pandemic situation, the Festival has been organized for the first time in a virtual, online way.
Professor Corrado Bolsi, who in addition to being a violin teacher is the Head of the Strings Department of the Liceu Conservatory, opened the Festival on July 27 with a class aimed at all violinists.
The Autonomous University of Bucaramanga, is a private Institution dedicated to the service of Higher Education of Colombia with High Quality Accreditation. A global and sustainable educational community, recognized among the first 200 universities in Latin America, with 10 internationally accredited programs.
This activity is part of the international program of the Liceu Conservatory Foundation nd its Collaboration Program with Latin America, that was started in 2002, and through which academic and artistic activities are carried out in 8 countries.
