This year, vocal polyphony will once again be the absolute highlight of this recital, marked by the high musical demands, the delicacy of the chosen repertoire, and the quality of the voices shaped by the prestige of the institution in the lyrical field and the great choral tradition of the region.
On this occasion, we will enjoy the Chamber Choir, conducted by Pere Lluís Biosca, one of the most prominent choral conductors in our country today. He is the conductor of the Francesc Valls and Madrigal choirs.
On this occasion, the Chamber Choir will present a repertoire featuring works by renowned Italian composers such as Giovanni Gabrieli, Francesco Cavalli, Antonio Lotti, and Claudio Monteverdi. The concert will conclude with Lobet den Herrn, a piece by the German composer Johann Sebastian Bach.
