Martín Leiton is a graduate from the Liceu Conservatory. He has developed his music in the field of Latin American folklore, jazz, Afro-American music or flamenco. He sings and plays various instruments such as double bass, electric bass, guitar, piano, and percussion. He has shared the stage with musicians like Jeff Ballard, Dave Kikoski, Kenny Werner, Perico Sambeat, Albert Bover, Jorge Pardo or Chano Domínguez; and has toured with Jorge Drexler, Niña Pastori, Juan Perro or Mala Rodríguez, among others.
He has released 5 albums as a leader: Medium (96k Music, 2011), Poetry of Sound (Underpool, 2015), Inevitable (Fresh Sound New Talent, 2017), Aparecidas (2020) and From below (Underpool, 2021).
