Diana Palau (Barcelona, 1974) began her musical studies in 1996 at the Taller de Músics de Barcelona and continued her higher studies at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) where she graduated with a specialty in Instrument Cant Jazz (2007) receiving classes from Ana Finger, Eladio Reinón, Albert Bover, Joan Díaz, Joan Monné, Eduardo Tancredi, Agustí Fernández, among others.
She has collaborated with the album Colores (Discos Pendiente, 2011) by Chilean pianist Carmen Paz González. She has collaborated with the album Viajes (Nómada 57, 2014) by singer Clara Luna. Together with guitarist Joel Moreno, she has recorded the album PLAY (Errabal, 2015).
She currently performs with several projects such as: Diana Palau & Joel Moreno, a jazz, pop and MPB Standards duo; Fonte Giberto, a project shared with the guitarist Aleix de Gispert with whom they delve into Brazilian Popular Music; Diana Palau – Joel Moreno grup, a shared project with Paco Weht and Guillem Arnedo, where they play their own songs and versions of jazz Standards; and Diana Palau – Pascual Morente duo, a project with which they delve into the jazz repertoire.
