Born in Valencia, he became interested in music at an early age, starting his studies in the band of his town where he was soon captivated by the sound of the bassoon.
He studied at the Conservatori Superior de Música “Joaquin Rodrigo” in Valencia and also at the Universität Für Musik und Dartellende Kunts Wien with professor Milan Turkoviç. He has been part of youth orchestras such as the Jove Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana, the Joven Orquestra Nacional de Espanya, and the Chamber Orchestra “Freixenet” of the Escuela Superior de música Reina Sofia.
For many years, he collaborated with the chamber orchestra “Turiae camerata” in Valencia, where he built a strong foundation in baroque and classical repertoire. He later also collaborated with the ensemble “Barcelona 216” specialized in contemporary repertoire, developing a vision of all musical periods that he continues to expand throughout his professional career.
He has been second bassoon and assistant solo bassoon of the symphony orchestra Ciutat de Barcelona and Nacional de Catalunya, solo bassoon of the Orquesta sinfónica de Castilla y Leon, and bassoon professor at the Escola Superior de Catalunya. He has collaborated with the London Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and Orquestra de Cadaqués.
Currently, he is studying a degree in social education at the UOC while collaborating in social and educational projects at the Gran Teatre del Liceu and externally.
Since 2005, he has been the solo bassoonist of the symphony orchestra at the Gran Teatre del Liceu.
