Carlos Ordoñez

Carlos Ordóñez de Arce is a Spanish saxophonist of international renown. The youngest winner of the prestigious Jean-Marie Londeix Competition (2017, Thailand), he trained in Spain and at the PESDM of Bordeaux Aquitaine under the direction of Marie-Bernadette Charrier. He has given concerts as a soloist in Europe, Asia and America, collaborating with orchestras such as the Thailand Philharmonic. He is part of the Mayrit Trio and Thesis Quartet and also develops his professional activity in the Music Unit of the Royal Guard. A founding member of the Madrid Sax Academy, he has given masterclasses at prominent festivals and conservatories on different continents, highlighting his activity in Latin America with collaborations with different universities such as the Federal University of Minas Gerais (Brazil). Carlos Ordóñez is a Yamaha Artist.
