The Conservatori Liceu Foundation and the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, with the collaboration of Casa Asia, the Confucius Institute Foundation of Barcelona, and Zhong-Xi-Qiao Intercultural Association, present the LUNAR LEAP CONCERT – “Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival”, performed by professors from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music (China).
The program features Chinese music with works by composers such as He Zhanhao, Chen Gang, A Kejian, Zheng Deren, Lei Zhenbang, Wang Yongxin, Wang Xinyang, Liu Zhuang, Yang Shaoyi, Ren Guang, Nie Er, Huang Yijun, Bao Yuankai, Li Yinghai, and Gao Xian, complemented by works by French composer Gabriel Fauré. Various chamber ensembles, showcasing the outstanding level and exceptional prestige of the Shanghai Conservatory, will perform a repertoire offering a wonderful introduction to the music of that country.
