Once again, for the sixth year, the Liceu Sax Festival will take place!
From 12th to 14th of April 2024, we will experience three intense days of saxophone-related activities at the Liceu Conservatory: masterclasses, concerts, conferences, workshops, round-table discussions and 2nd International Chamber Music Competition of the Liceu Sax Festival, part of a unique project aimed at promoting the saxophone and its importance in the music scene.
The Festival is organised biennially by the Fundació Conservatori Liceu with the sponsorship by Yamaha. It was founded in 2014 and since then it has gathered a growing number of participants, achieving a great quality of guest artists and participants. Throughout these years, the Liceu Sax Festival has counted on internationally renowned artists such as Jean-Yves Fourmeau, Paweł Gusnar, Albert Julià, Xavier Larsson, Otis Murphy, Nicolas Prost, Joao Pedro Silva, Kenneth Tse, Marc Vilanova i Carla Obach.
