The Consulate General of Colombia in Barcelona presents the Bi-national Concert Spain and Colombia: «LAZOS INQUEBRANTABLES» of traditional Colombian music performed by the Liceu Big Band of the Liceu Conservatory, directed by Eliana Echeverry, Young Talents Award from the Banco de la República, and as special guests, Felipe Muñoz with his Marimba de Chonta and the voice of singer-songwriter Angélica López.
We will take a journey through Colombia through the traditional rhythms of the different regions of the country that reflect Colombian diversity and richness.
We will have music from the Caribbean coast, the Eastern Plains, the Colombian Pacific, and the Andean region, arranged for the Big Band under the artistic direction of Colombian composer Eliana Echeverry.
This cultural activity takes place thanks to the immense support of the Conservatori Liceu Foundation and the Bastón de Oro Group led by Dacha Jiménez (General Director). Thanks to their generosity, it is possible for us to celebrate around culture, strengthening the fraternal ties that unite the two nations.
