Fusta i resina is a book that directly poses the situation of the Music graduate who ends up dedicating himself to another profession, in a story made from the direct knowledge of the concerns of students and graduates in higher studies of Music and the generation of Ofelia, an author who says she would not write how she does if she had not made the studies of music.
With works by Schumann and jazz standards performed by students of the Conservatory.
OFELIA CARBONELL
Trained in the Degree and Master’s Degree in cello performance at the Conservatorio Superior del Liceo, where she was a student of Professor Amparo Lacruz, since 2019 she has been working in the field of communication as a writer and collaborator in videopodcasts such as Gente de Mierda on Radio Primavera Sound or La Turra. She has also collaborated with Catalunya Música in the program Músicas Empoderadas and with Catalunya Ràdio for the program Les Muses. He has written music criticism and divulgation for media such as Nube, Enderrock or El Cuaderno of the newspaper El País, where he has also dealt with cultural and social current affairs. In 2023 he published Fusta i Resina (Columna), a fiction about classical music and young people. In 2024 he published the essay Las catalanas no se pintan (Pòrtic).
