The String Ensemble of the Conservatori Liceu is made up of bowed string instrument students from the String Department of the Conservatori Liceu, directed by professor Corrado Bolsi. This ensemble regularly performs important works from the repertoire, as well as arrangements of classical works for this type of formation.
The Liceu Jove is presented as a very attractive musical proposal that helps students fully prepare for their leap into the professional world while they are in their training period. It also provides a great opportunity for music lovers in the city to access repertoires of great interest and multiple formats (from the intimacy of chamber music to the large format of symphonic and operatic productions), as well as with a great stylistic variety (from great lyrical works to contemporary and newly created repertoire, passing through jazz and modern music), with the patronage of Fundació “la Caixa”.
