The history of the Conservatori Liceu is closely linked to singing and opera, and this relationship is more valid today than ever: every year, Escenes Líriques offers you the opportunity to get closer to the new lyrical talents who are grown in the Conservatori Liceu through the traditional concert featuring this unique workshop’s result, which allows young singers to develop in a professional context while offering the public a high-level lyrical evening.
Fragments of operas, zarzuelas and the classic repertoire of belcanto with a small but careful staging, accompany us every year in a highly successful evening.
The Liceu Jove is presented as a very attractive musical proposal that helps students fully prepare for their leap into the professional world while they are in their training period. It also provides a great opportunity for music lovers in the city to access repertoires of great interest and multiple formats (from the intimacy of chamber music to the large format of symphonic and operatic productions), as well as with a great stylistic variety (from great lyrical works to contemporary and newly created repertoire, passing through jazz and modern music).
Thanks to the patronage of the Fundació “la Caixa”, the public can have access to a wide range of music in a magnificent space, the Auditori Conservatori Liceu, a space located in the heart of Barcelona’s Raval neighborhood, fully consolidated and recognized as one of the best venues of its kind in our country.
