This concert celebrates the Final of the Extraordinary Awards of the Liceu Conservatory 2025-2026 in the Jazz and Modern Music specialty, which annually honors the most brilliant students of the Liceu Conservatory in each of the majors available in the Higher Degree in Music. As every year, there is the excitement of witnessing the moment when the finalist students present their projects. Don’t miss the moment the winners are announced!
The students selected in the previous preliminary phases and who opt for the award are: Elsa Armengou (trumpet), Xavi Maldonado (tenor sax) and Pau Serra (drums). The final verdict of the winner of this course will be announced in scoop once the performances of the finalists have finished.
The Liceu Jove is presented as a very attractive musical proposal that helps students fully prepare for their leap into the professional world while they are in their training period. It also provides a great opportunity for music lovers in the city to access repertoires of great interest and multiple formats, as well as with a great stylistic variety.
