The ConTrastes concert series celebrates the eclectic nature of the guitar and explores the instrument’s frets and the contrasts within its repertoire: from the Renaissance to contemporary music, without forgetting popular genres such as flamenco.
Organised by the Guitar Department of the Liceu Conservatory, directed by Guillem Pérez-Quer, the concert will bring together a selection of the department’s most outstanding students in solo, chamber and orchestral ensembles.
