Rosario La Tremendita will offer a master class on November 28 at the Higher Center of the Fundació Conservatori Liceu, within the Liceu Jazz – Masterclasses & Concerts concert series, which from October to December 2022 will schedule 19 master classes and 26 concerts by renowned jazz artists, turning the city of Barcelona into the nerve center of international jazz. These activities will take place in the Auditori Conservatori Liceu, a space located in the heart of the Raval district, fully consolidated and recognized as one of the best of its kind in our country.
The composer, producer, lyricist, singer and multi-instrumentalist Rosario La Tremendita is one of the great singers of our time, with a very unique voice that is characterized by looking both at tradition and at the most transgressive innovation. She has been nominated for the Latin Grammy Awards for Best Flamenco Album for Fatum (2012) and Delirium Tremens (2018), projects where she has exposed traditional flamenco singing to new environments, both sonorous and harmonic, approaching jazz and electronics.
The Liceu Jazz – Masterclasses & Concerts concert series is part of the close collaboration that the Fundació Conservatori Liceu has maintained for 11 years with the Voll-Damm Barcelona Jazz Festival, with the patronage of the Ferrer-Salat Music Foundation.
Masterclasses such as that of Rosario La Tremendita are one of the most important bets of the Liceu Conservatory, which enrich the academic experience of students and music lovers in our environment on their way to professionalism, allowing them to play and interact with the great masters of the current jazz scene.
Feel free to take part in this event which is part of a unique proposal in the country that wants to bring the best jazz to students and music lovers!
