Pepe Rivero & Javier Colina
The secrets of the best Latin jazz
Two years ago, we met Pepe Rivero bringing Vivaldi’s music to Latin jazz in an unforgettable experience in which he shared stage with Liceu Conservatory Chamber Orchestra formed by our students. Now, we will receive again the advice of this Cuban pianist, collaborator of Celia Cruz (key part of his band as an arranger), Paquito D’Rivera, Perico Sambeat or Omara Portuondo. He will come with another great partner: Javier Colina, one of the greatest double-basses of our time and who emerged besides legends such as Tete Montoliu, Chucho Valdés, Michel Camilo or Pat Metheny.
… AND AFTER THAT, COME TO HIS CONCERT AT THE LICEU CONSERVATORY WITHIN THE VOLL-DAMM BARCELONA INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL PROGRAM!
