Between 1979 and 1985, Ribot also worked as a sideman with Jack McDuff, Wilson Pickett, Carla Thomas, Rufus Thomas, Chuck Berry and many others.
The Liceu Jazz – Masterclasses & Concerts concert series is part of the close collaboration that the Fundació Conservatori Liceu has maintained for 11 years with the Voll-Damm Barcelona Jazz Festival, with the patronage of the Ferrer-Salat Music Foundation.
