For the last decades, he has been a pillar of the role of guitar in the American scene, and a key actor in the careers of jazz totems such as Paul Motian, John Zorn, Elvis Costello, Ginger Baker, Vic Chesnutt or Marianne Faithful, but also a bandleader who has become one of the most respected current composers. His work touches the purest American tradition through mixing rock, jazz, country and blues.
