As part of the celebrations marking the 15th anniversary of the Liceu Jazz – Masterclasses & Concerts series, the Live Room at the Liceu Conservatory is hosting concerts by the large ensembles of the Department of Jazz and Modern Music at the Liceu Conservatory. On this occasion, the concert will be performed by the Liceu Jazz Group.
The Liceu Jazz Group is made up of some of the Conservatoire’s most outstanding students, and performs a highly demanding repertoire under the direction of one of the leading jazz musicians on the current scene, the teacher and saxophonist Bill McHenry.
The Liceu Jazz – Masterclasses & Concerts series is celebrating 15 years of keeping jazz alive through education, listening, musical practice and bringing people together. It offers a programme that connects leading figures from the international jazz scene with students, teaching staff and the public.
