The Liceu BLAM Collective is a modern music ensemble, where students are directed by teachers Pedro Campos and Alex Dee and it is presented as a burst of music, full of influences from Black American Music and Afro-American music in general. This is a ensemble that has broken into the cosmos of the Conservatori Liceu as one of the great bets, and which initially had the artistic and musical accompaniment of Michael League, founder of the renowned band Snarky Puppy.
The Liceu Jazz – Masterclasses & Concerts concert series is part of the close collaboration that the Fundació Conservatori Liceu has maintained for 12 years with the Voll-Damm Barcelona Jazz Festival, with the patronage of the Ferrer-Salat Music Foundation.
