Liceu Big Band with Sergi Vergés
One of the classical and most expected appointments within the Voll-Damm Barcelona International Jazz Festival program is the concert by the Liceu Big Band. Year by year, the emblematic ensemble conducted by Sergi Vergés dazzles us with its spectacular arrangements, full of light and energy, played by some of the most talented young jazz musicians of the Liceu Conservatory. Don’t miss this value of the Catalan scene that has shared stage with international masters such as Maria Schneider, Joshua Redman, Jere Laukkanen or Iván ‘Melón’ Lewis.
