As part of the celebrations marking the 15th anniversary of the Liceu Jazz – Masterclasses & Concerts series, Ethan Iverson – pianist, composer and writer – joins forces with the powerful Liceu Big Band, under the musical direction of Sergi Vergés, to present a unique concert.
Entitled “The Barcelona Concert”, the concert will celebrate the 60-year history of the Barcelona Jazz Festival. This world premiere will bring together one of the great names in jazz with the young talent of the Liceu Conservatory Foundation.

The Liceu Jazz – Masterclasses & Concerts series is celebrating 15 years of keeping jazz alive through education, listening, musical practice and bringing people together. It offers a programme that connects leading figures from the international jazz scene with students, teaching staff and the public. This concert is organised in collaboration with the Barcelona Jazz Festival.
