Brandee Younger is a harpist, composer and bandleader recognized for her innovative work blending jazz, soul and classical influences. Inspired by harpists like Dorothy Ashby and Alice Coltrane, she has expanded the role of the harp in modern music and collaborated with artists across genres. The Brandee Younger Trio, with Rashaan Carter on bass and Allan Mednard on drums, represents her unique style, often described as spiritual jazz with a rhythmic soul.
