Elsa Armengou and Koldo Munné are two talented musicians making a significant mark on the local jazz scene. Elsa Armengou stands out for her virtuosity and improvisation skills. Her passion for jazz began at an early age, developing a unique and captivating style. On the other hand, saxophonist Koldo Munné stands out for his expertise with the instrument and his talent, being one of the most promising figures on his instrument. Both are students of the Liceu Higher Conservatory of Music and recipients of the Ferrer-Salat Music Foundation scholarship.
The Liceu Jazz – Masterclasses & Concerts concert series is part of the close collaboration that the Fundació Conservatori Liceu has maintained for 13 years with the Barcelona Jazz Festival.
