The Conservatori Liceu Symphonic Band returns to the Liceu Jove cycle as a consolidated project, not only thanks to the excellent memories left for audience and participants, but as a foundation that enriches the orchestral offering for wind (woodwind and brass) students of all levels.
Through the band, these students are able to approach a world that, although still relatively unknown to the public, is bursting with activity both in Europe, Asia, and the United States. There, bands, far from being limited to arrangements of symphonic works or ‘festive’ music, have an extraordinarily broad and diverse repertoire of newly created works composed specifically for this kind of ensemble.
Liceu Cambra — Masterclasses & Concerts is a unique artistic and educational initiative in the country, focused on classical and contemporary music and comprising the most compelling masterclasses by great masters of the international scene and concerts in different formats that bring together on stage our students and professors with world-famous guests.
