Casey Driessen is a fiddle player with a career spanning over fifteen years. Throughout his career, he has worked in various countries, including Australia, Belgium, China, Finland, Japan, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
He has collaborated with renowned artists such as Darol Anger, Zac Brown Band, T-Bone Burnett, Bootsy Collins, Jerry Douglas, Steve Earle, Béla Fleck and the Flecktones, John Mayer, Tim O’Brien, and Tony Trischka, among many others. His contributions can be heard on Grammy-winning albums by Béla Fleck (2010), Tim O’Brien (2006), and the soundtrack of the movie Walk the Line (2007).
This master class is specially aimed at all string instrument players at the Conservatori Liceu, both in the Jazz and modern music field, as well as classical and contemporary music.
