Contrapunto. A musical co-creation project by young artists
Fifteen musicians. One shared desire: to make music together
A group of musicians from the Liceu Conservatory and the Reina Sofía School of Music spend days rehearsing, living together, creating and getting to know one another, all to form a unique ensemble. The result is a concert free of artifice, where everything unfolds through sound, listening and presence.
A project born of dialogue, shared time and the desire to build something together. A repertoire that defies fixed formulas: it is a collective creation —straddling tradition and modernity, familiar works and new compositions— that serves as a cultural bridge between Barcelona and Madrid and opens up to the public as a living, shared experience.
It takes to the stage in the form of six concerts in Barcelona, Zaragoza, Madrid, Seville, Palma and Valencia, where everything unfolds through sound, gesture and presence.
Each performance is an invitation to hear how a cultural bridge is built, made of nuances, contrasts and shared understanding. Because music is not just what is heard. It is what happens between people when it is played. And there are concerts that are not just heard: they are experienced.
