The Higher Education degree finished at the Liceu Conservatory entitles to the Bachelor of Artistic Education in Music, equivalent to a university degree for all purposes.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tHow long are the studies?<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t\n

The Bachelor of Music has a planned duration of 4 years, subject to the passing of the studies’ courses.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tWhat are the admission criteria for the Bachelor\u2019s Degree?<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t

To access the Bachelor of Music, applicants must be in possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent, and they must pass the Admission Tests that the Center calls in June (and, if applicable, in the September call).<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tIn the event of not having the Middle-Grade Diploma (Professional Degree), may I access the Bachelor\u2019s Degree?<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t

Yes. Nevertheless, candidates who do not hold the Middle-Grade Diploma (Professional Degree) will have to perform a specific exercise during the Admission Tests previously.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tIn the event of not having the High School Diploma may I access the Bachelor\u2019s Degree?<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t\nYes, if the candidates have passed the University Admission Tests for those over the age of 25, and\/or have the certificate of passing a test by the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya, for people without the academic requirements accrediting maturity in relation to the objectives of the High School Diploma, over the age of 18.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tIs there an age limit to access the Bachelor of Music?<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t\nNo.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tWhere and when may I take the Admission Tests?<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t\nThe Admission Tests are taken at the Liceu Conservatory (Nou de la Rambla, 88 – Barcelona) and take place in a June call. If there are places available, there is also a September call.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tHow can I get information about the dates of the Admission Tests?<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t

The webpage of the Liceu Conservatory will publish the information about the dates of the Admission Tests on approximately three months before the start of the June call. Those interested can contact the Center at any time to request information (superior@conservatori-liceu.es<\/a>) or attend the Open House Day.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tMay I apply to more than one specialization or modality?<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t

Each applicant can apply to two specializations, areas or modalities. In the event of having access to both, he\/she can only enroll in one of them.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tIs it possible to study more than one specialization or modality simultaneously taking the subsequent Admission Tests?<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t

Certain specializations can be taken simultaneously in the double degree program. Thus you can obtain the Bachelor\u2019s Degree in the two specializations.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tMay I take the Admission Tests via online audition, video or similar?<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t

No. The Admission Tests to the Bachelor\u2019s Degree have to be taken mandatorily in-person.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tI am a foreign student. How can I access the studies?<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t\n

To have access to the Bachelor\u2019s Degree, foreign candidates must register and pass the Admission Test under the same conditions as other candidates. In the event of having completed their High School studies in another country, they must provide a High School Diploma duly approved to take the Tests.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tI am a foreign student. How can I sign up for the test?<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t\nThe registration is online, through the webpage of the Liceu Conservatory during the period of registration to the Admission Tests, for all the applicants.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tI am a foreign student, and, in my country, there are no Middle-Grade studies. How can I access the studies without this requirement?<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t

Yes. In the event of having completed the High School studies in another country, students must provide a High School Diploma (duly approved at the Embassy of Spain in their home country) to take the Tests.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tWhen do the classes begin and end?<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t\nClasses begin the last week of September, and they extend until the end of June.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tIn what language are the studies taught?<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t\n

The collective classes can be in Catalan or Spanish, the official languages \u200b\u200bin Catalonia. The teacher will always consider the characteristics of the group to ensure that all students can follow the class properly. \u00a0The same applies to small group and individual courses but, in these cases, students and teachers can agree to use other languages.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tMay the student choose his\/her main course teacher (Instrument, Composition)?<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t\nYes. The students enrolled choose the main course’s specialization teacher (Instrument, Composition) they like. The assignment may be subject to the availability of the chosen teacher.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tIs it possible to get scholarships?<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t\n

Students at the Liceu Conservatory can access the Ministry of Education Scholarships for non-university post-compulsory and higher education. Also, the Ferrer-Salat Music Foundation offers the Liceu Conservatory students the possibility of the Ferrer-Salat Scholarships.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tWhen and how to pay your fees.<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t

The payment of the fees for the Bachelor of Music gets divided into two installments. The first one has to be paid once the enrollment is completed and the second one, once the classes have begun, during the month of October.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tDoes the Liceu Conservatory offer housing or accommodation options to students not living in Barcelona?<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t

The Liceu Conservatory has agreements with some nearby residences, as well as information on how to look for a flat or room for rent. The relevant information is available on the website, in the section “Living in Barcelona.”<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tAs an international student, do I need a visa to study at the Liceu Conservatory?<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t\n

According to current regulations, all foreign citizens from countries who are not members of the European Economic Area and Switzerland, who study in Spain, must have a student visa issued \u2013in their home country\u2013 by the Embassy of Spain. Once the student has been accepted and enrolled, the Liceu Conservatory issues a letter of acceptance, so he\/she can process the relevant documents.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tAs a student of the Bachelor of Music, will I have access to training rooms to practice?<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t

Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Music have access to the training rooms at the Liceu Conservatory.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tHow does the access to the training rooms work?<\/strong>\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t\n

To facilitate the management of the training rooms to all students, the Liceu Conservatory uses the Asimut software, created exclusively for the management of schedules and reservation of areas and training rooms.
