education institution in the EHEA that entitles, in the country issuing the qualification, access to artistic/official Master’s studies (or a qualification from outside the EHEA, subject to prior verification that the qualification certifies an equivalent level of training).

The Higher Conservatory establishes the different admission procedures. To access the Master’s Degree in Performance it will be necessary to pass an audition, or Entrance Examination, in which the candidate must perform a previously prepared repertoire. Candidates for the Master’s Degree in Applied Composition must send scores and recordings of four works of different format which are a representative sample of their work as composers. Candidates will receive prior advice from the Master’s Director, if they so request, to choose the appropriate repertoire for the audition.

Likewise, candidates for the different Master’s programs must attend an interview in which they will present their motivation and expectations for taking the course. This interview will aim to assess the artistic maturity of the candidates and the suitability of their complementary musical training in accordance with the objectives of the Master’s program.

The audition and the interview will be graded with integer numbers from 0 to 10. The Entrance Examination will also include study of the academic record.

In the case of students with specific educational needs due to disability, they must pass a specific adapted test that will primarily assess their ability to achieve the objectives of the Master’s program and will also serve to identify possible needs for adaptation of the format of individual and group training sessions.

Places are limited and, if necessary, those responsible for the Master’s program will allocate them according to the results of the admission process and will propose alternative teachers to the other candidates.

Candidates who do not have a document certifying B2 level in English must take the corresponding language proficiency test.

    Pre-enrollment

Each year the center’s website will publish the call for the admission process to the Master’s studies, specifying the deadlines and procedures for submitting applications and the documentation that must accompany them.

The Conservatory will reserve an appropriate number of places to be allocated among students with disabilities.
