The Liceu Higher Conservatory of Music announces Entrance Examinations to begin Higher Artistic Education Degree studies in Music at this Conservatory for the 2026\u20132027 academic year.<\/p>\n

A high level of general training in Music Theory and History and mastery of one or more instruments is required, as well as possessing the specific qualities needed to follow the desired speciality, whether in the field of performance, creation, or pedagogy.<\/p>\n The examination is aimed at people between 16 and 18 years of age (who turn that age during the year 2026) who wish to access higher artistic education degrees in music and dance without meeting the academic admission requirement. Students in this age range who are enrolled in the 6th year of professional music or dance studies, or who have passed the entrance examination for the 6th year of the professional degree and wish to access higher artistic studies in music or dance, may apply.<\/p>\n If it is not planned to hold the entrance examination for the 6th year of the professional degree in a specific specialty, the applicant may request that it be administered by the Service for Special-Regime, Artistic and Sports Education (Via Augusta, 202-226, Barcelona). The period for submitting this request will be from 23 to 27 March 2026.<\/p>\n The application is submitted through the online registry, using the computer application available on the website of the Department of Education and Professional Training<\/a>, in the Entrance Examinations section, from 9:00 a.m. on 23 March until 11:59 p.m. on 27 March 2026.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\t People who have completed secondary studies (baccalaureate) outside Spain must request recognition (homologation) of their diploma by contacting the Education and Science Office of the Spanish Embassy in their country or the nearest Spanish Consulate, or else request a \u201cprovisional registration certificate\u201d if they have already applied for recognition but it has not yet been resolved.<\/p>\n For more information:<\/p>\n With regard to the transfer and recognition of credits, procedures are adapted to the provisions of the following legal texts:<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\tSchedule and location of the examinations (September)\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\n\t\t
