The aim is to help to build careers in the Opera world and to train students in the field of operatic performance; including signing, stylistic, repertory, scenic and theoretical techniques. Also, to provide them with professional experience.<\/p>\n<p>The Master&#8217;s objective is the technical, singing and stylistic work around a fundamental title in Opera&#8217;s history in the context of professional-level opera production. A cast made up of students from the Master&#8217;s program \u2013accompanied by the Liceu Conservatory Orchestra\u2013 will achieve this objective through joint work with prestigious names from the Opera scene and experts in the Opera selected in each edition.<\/p>\n<p>The Master&#8217;s proposals are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To contribute to building careers in the Opera world.<\/li>\n<li>To train students in the field of operatic performance, including signing, stylistic, repertory, scenic and theoretical techniques. Mozart\u2019s opera *Mitridate, Re di Ponto*<\/strong>, culminating in its staging, rehearsals, and public performance accompanied by the Liceu Conservatory Orchestra.<\/p>\n<div class=\"x_x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_x_skipProofing\">In the 2024-2025 edition of the Master in Opera Performance, the program will include other singers who are experts in Mozartian interpretation, as well as specialists in the musical and stage direction of this repertoire. Furthermore, there is an individual continuing education, with repertoire teachers and preparation of the piece next to big names and some of today&#8217;s best experts in the selected title, as well as in singing and the lyrical scene in general. The students have access to the masterclasses by internationally renowned musicians with great music and scenic experience. Not to mention professional training focused towards a global cultural market with music management professionals.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Music Businesses<\/strong> course provides the students with the cultural reality of the country through some of its main cultural managers, with special emphasis on operatic activity.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Analysis Seminar<\/strong> course will deal with the formal and stylistic analysis of the opera performed as well as its structure and musical dramaturgy.<\/p>\n<p>The Curriculum includes the execution of a Final Essay under the management of several specialists. It consists in elaborating a written memory commenting the different musical and scenic aspects of the role prepared by the student.<\/p>\n<p>Students will learn the new scenic trends led by the great European theaters. Moreover, they will have access to the ambitious masterclasses program of the Center with a regular yearly presence of renowned opera singers. Likewise, they will study the chosen piece through music and dramatic analysis. Finally, there will be a rehearsal with the orchestra and the staging of the piece.
