Carla Obach Esteban is currently a professor at the Fundacio\u0301 Conservatori Liceu Centre for Higher Education of Barcelona, and at the American School of Barcelona. She combines her teaching activity with choral direction and saxophone performance.<\/p>\n

She studied saxophone at the Fundacio\u0301 Conservatori Liceu Centre for Higher Education, in Barcelona, with professor Albert Julia\u0300 (2014). Subsequently, she completed the Master in Saxophone at the Hochschule fu\u0308r Musik und Tanz Ko\u0308ln (Germany), with Professor Daniel Gauthier (2016), and continued her development at the Royal Academy of Music Aarhus (Denmark), where she obtained the Soloist Diploma with Professor Johannes Thorell (2019).<\/p>\n

In 2021 she completed the Master’s Degree in Chamber Music at the Fundacio\u0301 Conservatori Liceu Centre for Higher Education, thanks to the support of the Fundacio\u0301 Conservatori Liceu scholarship, along with the rest of her colleagues from the Quartet Vela. With this group she recorded her first album \u00abVistes al mar\u00bb.<\/p>\n

She recently recorded her second album \u00abTrencadi\u0301s\u00bb, with cellist Elisabet Iserte Lo\u0301pez, with whom she forms the Absit Duo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
